Zoe Sarnak

Zoe Sarnak is a composer, lyricist and playwright. She graduated from Harvard University in 2009 where her show The Quad received grants from the Harvard Office of Fine Arts and the Radcliffe Women’s Center for a 2-week workshop followed by a production at Harvard’s Loeb Experimental Theatre. In 2010, two staged readings of her next show, A Lasting Impression, were produced in New York City by East 3rd Productions. The piece is being developed in workshops throughout 2011, aimed for a 2012 opening. The Quad will be presented in Summer 2011 as a Workshop and Showcase by Broadway Theatre Studio, sponsored by the John W. Engeman Theater.

Zoe’s songs have been performed in various composer showcases including New York Theatre Barn’s D-Lounge Series, Composers Sing Composers, and NYTB Presents a Celebration of Women Composers. Her band, TheWD, performs in venues throughout New York and has recently released a live concert album, “TheWD, Live From the Bitter End.”
