Shannon grew up on Long Island, NY with parents who both loved music. She says she's been singing since she can remember - and that her first love is musical theatre. She hopes to one day perform in a musical; Broadway's her dream.

Her first musical idol originated on Broadway, Linda Eder. "The power behind Linda's voice is mind-blowing and the ease with which she belts is truly astonishing." Shannon's second idol has to be Karen Carpenter, whose voice impacted her from her earliest days.

Shannon has taken a few voice lessons, but felt she wasn't getting the type of help she needed. However, once she performed in a "Singer's Showcase," she realized that she loved to perform. Shannon plans to begin real vocal instruction within the next year.

Shannon is currently a stay at home fiance - and loves it for now. She adores cooking, baking and even cleaning the house. She says she's engaged to the most wonderful man in the world, Jason, and that she's very lucky to have found him.

About a year ago, Shannon and Jason made a very eagerly anticipated addition to their little family... a German Shepherd puppy, Rudy. They brought him home at 8 weeks old, weighing a measly 14 pounds and now, at 2 years old, he's almost 100 pounds. Just more of him to love!

http://www.youtube.com/semeril ), lives in Phoenix, Arizona so we've never gotten to sing live together before but he finally came to visit last week! So of course we had to record some duets, lmao! This is my favorite male/female duet EVER!!! I'm so lucky to have gotten to sing this with my best friend . . . who just happens to make one of the most incredible Hyde's out there, lol! We hope you enjoy this even though the audio's not up to my usual standards. We're still trying to locate our vocals from the good microphones, when we find it I'll make sure to remix the video with the good quality sound and re-upload it. Til then I hope you can still enjoy this even with the crappy audio from my camera and the fact that it's not perfect, lol ;P LOVE YOU GUYS!! Muah!
