In 2010, Lindsay starred on Broadway in Everyday Rapture, which was nominated for two Tony Awards. She performed as part of a trio with Sherie Renée Scott and Betsy Wolfe in the opening montage at the 2010 Tonys. Previously, she was seen in the Off-Broadway run of The Marvelous Wonderettes as Betty Jean and in Sherie Renée Scott's critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production of Everyday Rapture at 2nd Stage, directed by Michael Mayer. She made her Broadway debut in the 2007 revival of Grease.

(NAMT, Kaufman Center), Rated RSO; The Music and Lyrics of Ryan Scott Oliver (NYMF, Joe’s Pub), Footloose (Sacramento Music Circus, Kansas City Starlight), Princesses (NAMT, Goodspeed Opera House, 5th Avenue Theater), Call Me Madam (Reprise!), Go the Distance and The Lyrics of David Zippel (Jazz at Lincoln Center, Kaufman Center). Recordings include: “Grease” (OCR), “New York City Christmas” (a benefit for ASTEP) and “Everyday Rapture” (OCR). Lindsay is the lead singer of the new, hip cover band, “Limbsakimbo.”

Lindsay Mendez, Sherie Renee Scott and Betsy Wolfe (from left to right) sing "Up the Ladder to the Roof," the finale of the Broadway musical EVERYDAY RAPTURE, as part of the opening number to the 2010 Tony Awards. Choreography is by Michele Lynch.  The musical received two nominations: Best Book of a Musical (Dick Scanlon and Sherie Renee Scott) and Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical (Sherie Renee Scott).

"Up the Ladder to the Roof" was originally a 1970 hit single recorded by The Supremes for the Motown label.  Music is by Frank Wilson and lyrics by Vincent DiMirco.  The original arrangement was by David Van DePitte.  This was a top ten hit for the Supremes in the U.S., going even higher in Canada and the UK.  It was later recorded by Bette Midler in 1977 and by the a cappella group the Nylons in 1982.
