Holland Mariah Grossman

Holland began studying classical voice at the age of 13 and soon discovered her love for musical theatre, portraying a variety of roles both in high school and with a county-wide theatre group in south Florida. Productions included SEUSSICAL (Gertrude), ONCE ON THIS ISLAND (Ti Moune), and GREASE (Sandy).

Holland enjoyed two incredible summers at the renowned Interlochen Arts Camp. She first performed in the ensemble in RAGS (Bella understudy) and in her second year she was thrilled to be in JEKYLL & HYDE (Lucy). She attended Interlochen Arts Academy for her senior high school year and majored in Theatre Arts under the direction and mentorship of Dr. David Montee. At the Academy, she represented Interlochen in several shows and musicals, including vocal performances in the graduation commencement and the "Collage" performance. Musicals included FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Golde) and A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD (Mother Frog) which toured to New York City.

Three years at Interlochen helped prepare Holland for the University of Michigan where she recently graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre. She is endlessly grateful for the incomparable faculty and for having the opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest young performers in the country. Holland's performances include SEE ROCK CITY (Dodi), UNDER MILK WOOD (Polly Garter) and DOG SEES GOD (Lucy). Holland also originated principal roles in two brand new musical works, ELLA MINNOW PEA (Houston LaGreer) written by Burkell and Loesel, and GIBSON FLECK (Caroline) written by classmates AJ Holmes, Carlos Valdes and Ali Gordon. In her final musical at the University of Michigan, Holland had the special opportunity to perform in a classic, BRIGADOON (Fiona).

When Holland was not performing or living and breathing theatre, she actively pursued her minor study in psychology and worked with a horse rescue barn in Michigan in her spare time. Holland now resides in New York City where she is currently pursuing a career in musical theatre, vocal performance and acting.
