Deonte Warren

Deonte graduated from Belmont University in May 2010. He is currently performing with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as a singer on the Grandeur of the Seas and will join his friends in New York City in February, 2011. "I have a passion for performing and a passion for teaching. I plan to explore both while following wherever God takes me!"

Deonte spent the summer of 2009 in Charlotte, NC with the Central Piedmont Summer Theatre where he appeared in Camelot (Ensemble), Company (David), The Producers (Ensemble) and Willy Wonka (Willy Wonka). He spent the summer of 2007 in Elspe, Germany performing at the Elspe Festival doing an American Music Show.

He's been very busy at Belmont, appearing in two major productions every year. Freshman Year, 2006-07: Seussical the Musical (Wickersham #1) and Guys and Dolls (Nicely, Nicely Johnson). Sophomore Year, 2007-08: Swing, the Musical (Ensemble) and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ensemble). Junior Year, 2008-09: Ragtime, the Musical (Coalhouse Walker, Jr.) and On the Town (Rajah Bimmy). Senior Year, 2009-10: Urinetown, the Musical (Hot Blades Harry) and Grease (Danny Zuko).

In addition to singing, Deonte loves dance. He's been a member of the dance company at Belmont all four years, participating in every spring production. He's also danced with the Nashville modern dance company, Epiphany Dancers.

Deonte says "I can not begin to put my love for music and theatre into words. I am so blessed and thankful to be able to share my passion with others. Theatre has changed my life completely, and I hope to be able to one day do for others what many performers and teachers have done for me! God Bless!"
