Danny Calvert
Danny Calvert starred as Mark in Altar Boyz off-Broadway.
He reprised this role in his hometown of Houston, TX, as well as in LA and San Diego,
which also marked his choreographic debut and garnered many rave reviews singling him out as a "laudable"
(NY Times) "showstopper" who "steals the show" (LA Times). Other theatre credits:
Zanna in the Ovation-nominated Zanna Don’t! (West Coast Ensemble) in which he won
the LA Drama Critics Circle Award for best lead performance in a musical,
Ryan in Disney’s High School Musical 1 and 2 (Disney Theatrical Productions NYC),
Kurt in White Noise (New York Musical Theatre Festival),
Paul/Angel 1st cover in RENT (National Tour), and Dennis in the 10 time Ovation-Nominated
All Shook Up (Musical Theatre West). Film: "P.S. I Love You." Recordings: "Kiss the Air"
on the album "Dreaming Wide Awake" featuring the music of composer Scott Alan.
Danny is in his 4th year as a member of The Broadway Boys, who are currently recording
an album on Sh-K Boom Records.
