Damon McToy

Damon McToy is currently a sophomore Vocal Performance major at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Damon made his New York City debut at The Canal Room as the winner of the NewMusicalTheater.com contest, and then appeared at the Drom in NYC for the Carner and Gregor “Barley Legal Show Tune Extravaganza”. Damon is a proud member of the Broadway Dreams Foundation and participated with them at New World Stages for their Holiday Benefit concert where he performed with stars like Shoshana Bean, Eden Espinosa, Billy Porter and Jeremy Schonfeld.

Damon recently appeared as Jean Val Jean in Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts production of Les Misérables. He is a 2010 Central Dauphin East High School graduate and was last seen on the high school stage as Caldwell B. Cladwell in their production of Urinetown. Regional Theater debut was at the Fulton Opera House in the 2009 production of Les Misérables as Courfeyrac. He also appeared as Collins in RENT: School Edition at Capitol Performing Arts Center. Damon’s Greater Harrisburg Youth for Christ performances include Bun Foo in Thororughly Modern Millie and Coalhouse Walker Jr. in Ragtime. Other high school performances include Smokey Joes Café and How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying. Damon also played Jeffery in Godspell at Little Theater of Mechanicsburg.
