Andre Catrini at the After Party - Aug 27, 2010

Andre is about to start his senior year at Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), majoring in Musical Theatre.

Andre was selected to perform at the very prestigious Johnny Mercer's Songwriting Project at Northwestern University in August, 2010. The fifteen participants were asked to write multiple new songs during the intensive one-week workshop; Andre wrote three of them. The workshop leaders, Andrew Lippa, Craig Cornelia and Lari White selected three songs from the pool of 45 or so new songs to be performed at the Stephen Schwartz Gala concert - including Andre's song "Have You Met Georgette?"

Andre has been invited to perform three of his songs at the After Party at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City on Friday, August 27, 2010. He will sing his newest song "Have You Met Georgette?" himself. Scott Coulter, MAC Award and Bistro Award winner for Outstanding Male Vocalist, will sing Andre's song "Shelter." Tony Yazbeck (A CHORUS LINE, NEVER GONNA DANCE, OKLAHOMA!, GYPSY) will perform "I Can't Smell Purple."
