Mara recently appeared in the North American tour of Jesus Christ Superstar (Disciple Girl, Soul Sister u/s) starring Golden Globe Nominee Ted Neeley.

She graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a BFA in Musical Theatre and made her Feature Film debut in the independent movie Trophy Kids.

Favorite readings/workshops include A Lasting Impression (East 3rd Productions), Welcome To The Corn Palace (NYU), The Dream Palace (New World Stages), The Four (Prospect Theatre Co.) and Tess (York).

As a cabaret soloist, Mara has appeared in New York City at the Duplex, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, Actor's Movement Studio and in Philadelphia at the Arts Bank Cafe and Chris' Jazz Cafe. Regionally, Mara has worked for Forestburgh Playhouse, Utah Shakespearean Festival, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Walnut Street Theatre, Prince Music Theatre, Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Broward Stage Door Theatre and ReVision Theatre.

Mara's voice can be heard on Stage Stars Records' West Side Story ("Somewhere"), Mamma Mia! (Ali), and the webseries The Battery's Down. Other collaborations include the works of Julia Meinwald, Ryan Scott Oliver, Martin Landry and Monday Nights, New Voices with Katie Thompson and Scott Alan.
