Will Van Dyke

Will Van Dyke is a New York City based pianist, music director, and composer/lyricist. Piano credits include The Addams Family on Broadway, Wicked (1st National/B’way), Kathleen Marshall’s revival of Grease (Associate Music Director) and Present Laughter.

As a composer, his music has been featured in The Grass Is Always Greener, a critically acclaimed concert of his work, presented in both New York City and Los Angeles. Compositions include Pages, Fat Camp, Where The Blue Grass Grows and That Pageant Show. The latter two were written for SlightlyAskew, an experimental theater company of which Will is a founding member. He also composed the score for We Three Kings, a celebrated new media piece for the NOLA Rising Project. Additionally, Will has composed and orchestrated for various shows, cabarets, and recordings. Current musicals that Will is working on include Andrew Lippa's The Man In The Ceiling, as well as The Book Of Mormon.

As a pianist/conductor, Will has music directed productions of Reefer Madness, The Goddess Wheel, Songs For A New World, You’re A Good Man CB, Smile, Snoopy, The Full Monty, The Rocky Horror Show, as well as various cabarets and benefits, including his weekly role as co-host of Broadway Sessions with BenD. Will has also lent his musical abilities to Andrew Lippa’s Little Princess (Associate Music Director), “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” Avenue Q, The Big Time, and Behind The Limelight.
