Urban Method

Urban Method was formed by eight musicians with extensive studio session work who had previously never performed together. The group's founder, Tony Huerta, heard each vocalist sing at the Sonic Audio recording studio and slowly pieced Urban Method together. Each individual's sound gravitates toward urban music and beats to create a cohesive blend. Urban Method is ready to introduce America to this unique blend of team collaboration and music.

Group members in 2011-2012 include: Liz Ager, Kim Dawson, Troy Horne, Mykal Hudson, Tony Huerta, Zak Troiano , Katie Turley and Richard Steighner.

In fall 2011, Urban Method was selected as one of sixteen groups to perform in NBC's a cappella music show, "The Sing-Off". They placed third in the competition.

Urban Method performances from "The Sing Off" are available for purchase on iTunes. Note that groups performed twice on some episodes, and each group performed in only two of the first four episodes.
