Terri White
Terri came to New York from her native California as a dancer.
Since then, Terri has been in numerous Broadway shows,
including Barnum,
Ain’t Misbehavin’, Bubbling Brown Sugar, Two Gentlemen of Verona
and Finian's Rainbow.
Off-Broadway has included The Club (for which she received an Obie Award)
during which Charles Nelson Reilly (Uncle Charlie) introduced her to Mabel Mercer
(who is her major inspiration in her style of singing).
Also Off-Broadway: Juba, Nunsense I & II, and Jungle Book.
She can also be seen on video in Nunsense I & II with Rue McClanahan,
Liza Live at Radio City Music Hall with Liza Minnelli
and Boys on the Side with Whoopi Goldberg.
Terri has performed with Peter Nero and the Philly Pops,
The Long Island Philharmonic, Atlantic City at Ceasar’s Palace,
Anything Cole at Carnegie Hall, and as soloist with the Cleveland Ballet “In Studio D”.
She can be heard on “Incurably Romantic,” and the cast albums of
Barnum, Liza Live!, Forbidden Broadway's 20th Anniversary Edition (“Screamgirls”)
and Finian's Rainbow.
The new millenium saw the release of Terri's first solo CD, produced by Old Hat Productions,
“The Lady's Got To Sing”.
