Ryan Scott Oliver at the Kennedy Center
On February 9, 2010, Ryan Scott Oliver was a featured songwriter at the Kennedy Center in
Washington, DC as part of their second "Broadway Tomorrow" series of emerging writers.
He was joined on stage by singers Jay Armstrong Johnson, Alex Brightman and Lindsay Mendez.
Composer/lyricist Oliver is a 2009 Jonathan Larson Grant recipient.
Actor Johnson is understudying in the hit revival of Hair on Broadway.
Brightman is currently playing Boq in Broadway’s Wicked.
Mendez just completed the Off-Broadway run of The Marvelous Wonderettes.
Sharon Kenny is on piano, Jeremy Yaddaw on drums and Allison Seidner on cello.
