Our Country received its WORLD PREMIERE production as part of the
Planet Connections Theater Festivity in New York City in June, 2009.
The production received amazing reviews from
NYTheatre.com and
stagebuzz.com.
On August 2nd, 2009, the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity
(the festival in which Tony presented Our Country in June) held its first annual awards ceremony.
Tony is very proud to announce that Our Country won 4 of the 5 awards for which it was nominated!!!

Synopsis
This Just In: "King of Country" Tommy Dautry arrested for lewd conduct in a public restroom!
Outed, humiliated and abandoned by fans; Country Music sensation Tommy Dautry has gone from
darling to derelict overnight.
But now, in a one night only engagement (in the back room of The White Swallow),
Tommy is back and ready to prove that gay or straight, left or right…it’s Our Country too!
