Singers new to New York City - 2010

This page is intended to help songwriters, producers, casting directors and agents identify talented newcomers to New York City. If you'd like to be included on the page, please send a sample video to along with your expected arrival date and a 3 or 4 sentence bio. Generally, the arrival date should be in 2010, but a month or two either way is okay.

I will also create a similar page for singers new to NYC in 2011. Follow the instructions above if you'd like to be included.

Nick Cosgrove graduated from CMU in May, 2010. He spent the summer of 2010 performing at the MUNY and is now available for roles in NYC and around the country.

Matt Densky graduated from the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music in April 2010 with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Following graduation, Matt originated the role of Brother Bear in The Berenstain Bears - Family Matters and recently appeared as Woof in Hair at Alpine Theatre Project. He will perform in the North American Tour of How the Grinch Stole Christmas from October, 2010 to January, 2011. MattDensky.com

Kara Farmer graduated from Belmont University in May, 2009. She moved to NYC in October, 2010.

Maria Logan graduated from Belmont University in May, 2009. She moved to NYC in October, 2010.

Anne Markt graduated from the University of Michigan in May, 2010. She's currently making her Off-Broadway debut in The Fantasticks.

Paige Salter graduated from Belmont University in May, 2009. She moved to NYC in October, 2010.

Michael Valentine studied musical theatre and voice at AMDA before taking two 8+ month cruise line gigs. He's also appeared in a number of regional theatre performances. Michael moved to NYC in June, 2010.

Devon Yates graduated from Cleveland's Baldwin-Wallace College in May, 2010. She moved to NYC in June, 2010.
