On Thursday, June 9, 2011, BROADWAY SESSIONS held a "University of Michigan night" featuring
performances by alumni
and students of University of Michigan's musical theatre program.
Ben Cameron hosted the event and
Joshua Stephen Kartes accompanied most of the performers.
Event Details
The cabaret was held at the Midtown Theatre on Thursday, June 9, 2011, at
163 W. 46th St., New York, NY inside the
HA! Comedy Club. Cover was FREE!
The venue is 18+.
Although only some of the videos are available, performers included Cortney Wolfson, Dave Hull, AJ Shively, Todd Buonopane,
Rachel Bahler, Tyler Jones, Desi Oakley, Walter Winston O'Neil, Bryan Langlitz, Anne Markt, Mackenzie Orr, Eric Maier and Kent Overshown.
Michigan alum James L'Esperance accompanied three performers on guitar.
A collection was made for
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS; they provide support for critical health issues
(including HIV/AIDS) to individuals in the entertainment
industry and to over 400 community organizations across the country. BC/EFA is a
501 (c)(3) non-profit.
