Matt Doyle
Matt is perhaps most well known
for singing the role of Peter in the 2007 studio recording of Bare: A Pop Opera. He made
his Broadway debut as a swing in the original cast of Spring Awakening,
then replaced Jonathan B. Wright in the role of Hanschen until the show closed.
In fall 2008, Matt made his first appearance as Jonathan Henry, Eric van der Woodsen's boyfriend
on the CW hit Gossip Girl.
Additionally, Matt has a small singing role in the film Once More With Feeling,
which made its premiere at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
Matt was cast as Hugo in the 2009 Broadway revival of
Bye Bye Birdie. In the spring of 2011, he won the role of Billy Narracott in War Horse.
Many of the videos below were performed at Joe's Pub in New York City on August 17, 2009,
with Ben Kalb on cello.
