Jakob Karr
Jakob is a leading contestant in the sixth season of So You Think You Can Dance.
The 19-year-old, originally from Orlando, FL, currently resides in New York City.
A sophomore at Fordham University, he was named National Senior Outstanding Dancer by the
New York City Dance Alliance in 2008. Jakob specializes in contemporary dance.
Jakob didn't take his first dance class until he was almost twelve years old,
but immediately fell in love with it. He is best friends with Jeanine Mason,
who won the SYTYCD competition in season five.
