American Idol
One of our guilty pleasures is American Idol. While the format of the show doesn't necessarily
identify the best performer, it
certainly showcases some great performances. We present a few of our favorites here and will add more over time.
We used to provide many more videos, but Idol is relentless about deleting them from YouTube. We no longer have time
to monitor many performances from older seasons so have removed them.
Idol 2009 - Season 8

Idol 2008 - Season 7
David Archuleta and David Cook led the pack throughout the season, and David Cook won the final battle.
Carly Smithson was the strongest female contender until her elimination from the Top 6. Syesha
improved greatly as the season progressed and came in third.
Idol 2007 - Season 6
Jordin Sparks won in 2007, but Melinda Doolittle was our favorite singer of the year.
