Heather Headley

Heather Headley moved from her native Trinidad to Fort Wayne, Indiana at age 15. She studied musical theatre for three years at Northwestern University before leaving to appear in Ragtime. She appeared as Nala in The Lion King on Broadway, followed by her Tony Award-winning role as the lead in Aida.

Headley's debut album in 2002, This Is Who I Am, earned her two Grammy Award nominations.
