Broadway Bares

In 2008 and again in 2009, "Broadway Bares" raised over $800,000 each year for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA). In 2008, BC/EFA provided $10M in AIDS-related grants - and since 1987, total grants approach $100M.

BC/EFA's grantmaking has two emphases. The first is The Actors' Fund of America. BC/EFA currently supports five major social service programs at The Fund, each of which provides direct assistance to entertainment industry professionals and performing artists who are dealing with a variety of problems, including AIDS, HIV, and HIV-related issues. The second major grantmaking effort is the National Grants Program, through which BC/EFA makes grants twice a year to hundreds of community-based AIDS Service organizations across the country.

Broadway Bares 2008 Composition Video

We really liked several of the existing 2008 Broadway Bares videos, so we stitched them together and added new music to help promote Broadway Bares 2009. We've incorporated the wonderful work of Daniel Robinson, youtube's gionmusic and video from a preview performance by the Fantasy Football Team at Splash. No copyright claim is made; this video is intended solely to promote fundraising efforts of BC/EFA.
