No matter what we think of a performance, our viewers have the final say. But what's the best measure of viewer opinion? Viewer count? Rating? Favorites? "Viewer count" is easily skewed by adding popular tags. All viewer count says is that the viewer tried it, not that they liked it. "Rating" is an improvement - the viewer states that they did or didn't like the video. However, viewers can rate any number of videos and can do so anonymously. "Favorites" seems to us to be the best measure. Viewers have a limited supply of Favorites (500) and assigning a Favorite makes a public declaration that a video is worth watching.
