Arbender J. Robinson
Arbender is a phenomenal singer, actor and dancer (tap, jazz, modern, funk, hip-hop and ballet)
with a four octave range (baritone to counter-tenor.)
He made his Broadway debut in Hairspray
as Gilbert and cover for Seaweed. He then spent a year in The Little Mermaid as
a featured Seagull and as the cover for Prince Eric and Sebastian. More recently, Arbender has
performed on Broadway in The Lion King, Book of Mormon, Hair and Ragtime.
Arbender has appeared in many musicals around the country, including AIDA (Mereb, The Barn Theatre),
5 Guys Named Moe (NoMoe, Heritage Repertory),
Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas, Circle Theatre),
Smokey Joe's Cafe (Ken/Dance Captain, Seaside Music Theatre),

Cabaret (Emcee, UWL - Summerstage).
Arbender grew up in the Chicago area and holds degrees in Music, Theatre, Theology and a
Certificate in Special Education focusing on Autism research.
Arbender considers his music a ministry full of miracles, as he was born with a non-functional lung.
Doctors said he'd never sing, run, and play like most children. Today, each time he sings or dances it takes on a
deeper meaning that simply making fun music.
