Alexander Sage Oyen
Alexander Sage Oyen is a new musical theatre composer/lyricist and sometimes performer.
His musical, Dachau (music and lyrics w/ Christopher Metz), was workshopped at The University of Central Florida
and his concert/song cycle, Context, premiered in New York City.
As a kid, he was seen rocking out on VH1’s In Search of the Partridge Family where he came in third for the role of Danny Partridge.
He’s also had the incredible opportunity to perform beside Broadway veterans Faith Prince and Davis Gaines as “Toby” in Sweeney Todd.
Alexander is currently attending the University of Minnesota/ Guthrie BFA Actor Training Program and is
also hard at work on two original book-musicals and other miscellaneous writing projects.
His debut album, If I Knew Better: The Songs of Alexander Sage Oyen, was released in May 2011; listen to samples
or purchase it using the link on the right.
His website is under construction still- but when it’s up, sheet music will be available. Keep on the lookout!
