Jonathan Shew
Jonathan is a New York City native and recent "Music Industry" graduate of Syracuse University.
In fall 2010, Jonathan had a starring role at the Kennedy Center in FRAT: THE MUSICAL.
He was also selected as a finalist in the New York Musical Theatre Festival's "Next Broadway Sensation" competition.
Jonathan worked with rising composers Jeff Thomson and Jordan Mann in their concert at Lincoln Center and
recorded the track "Pennsylvania Nights" for their upcoming NYMF show TRAILS.
He recently recorded a duet version of Josh Groban's Tune "You Are Loved" with Kate Pazakis,
arranged by Tony Bisbano.
Right after college, Jonathan worked with Norwegian Cruise Line as their leading male
vocalist on the Norwegian Sky.
He was also selected to take part in Scott Alan's Monday Night New Voices concert series.
Jonathan's love for music began at an early age; he is self-taught in both piano and voice.
Jonathan has been fortunate enough to be an accompanist at
Showchoir Camps of America (SCA) for the last 4 years,
where he performed on numerous occasions. Along with his work on staff, Jonathan was privileged to sing back-up for Josh Groban
for two years in the New York area.
Jonathan attended the prestigious La Guardia High School of Music & Arts and the Performing Arts in New York City, where he earned
the role of Tony in West Side Story his senior year.
